The two fabrics I used for Row #8 are from

Red Rooster Fabrics

1. Cut fabrics B, C + E [Rotary Cutting~ #D + #E]

Fabric C:

1½" wide strips ~ 3 FQ Strips or 2 WOF Strips
3½" wide strips ~ 2 FQ Strips or 1 WOF Strip

Fabric B:

2" wide strips ~ 2 FQ Strips or 1 WOF Strip

Fabric E:

2" wide strip ~ 1 WOF Strip

2. Sew strip sets from the cut fabrics B + E [Strip Piecing].

    Press the seams open [Pressing].

    Cut the strip sets down into 15 ~ 2½" x 3½" units.

3. Sew the Fabric C 1½" wide strips end to end to make a long 1½" x 60½" strip.
    Cut the Fabric C 3½" wide strips down into 15 ~ 2½" x 3½" patches.

4. Lay out the 15 units, as illustrated.

Unit Layout

    Sew [Machine Piecing] the units together, as instructed:

5. Block ~ 3" x 4" finished size [Blocking].

6. Sew the 15 blocks into a row along the sewing lines, as illustrated.

    Sew the Fabric C remaining long strip to the bottom of the row, along the sewing line drawn on the unit row.
    After pressing the seams open, draw a sewing line along the bottom edge of the strip, to mark the 4" finished width of the row.

7. Sew Row #8 to the top edge of the Row #7 finished section.
