The Ginger Folk is fun and easy to put together using Fusible Appliqué. I have also included clothing templates for you to add to the "Folk", to make your quilt a memory for any special event, like a family reunion! This design is one of the Sew Simple Samplers™.

 
 
 

 

 2 yards plaid or themed main print for corner borders or a homespun plaid

 
 

 

 ˝ yard smaller border print

 
 

 

Fat quarters* totalling at least 2 yards of light background fabrics for the blocks, plus a fat quarter for the house background

(*See Note below)

 

 

 

 

 

Fat quarters* totalling at least 1 yard of gingerbread body and heart fabrics for the blocks

(*I personally made my Ginger Folk quilt "charming" by using different fabrics for each of the gingerbread men and the backgrounds. Using many different fabrics will help you achieve this effect.)
