Garden Jewels Quilt

I grew Nastursiums a few years ago for the first time. The "Jewel Mixed" collection of flowers inspired this vibrant quilt project. It's a great way to use some of the hand dyed fabrics you collect!

 

 
 
 

 

 ½ yard tone on tone black fabric for the background.

 
 

 

 ½ yard tone on tone dark green fabric for the border and the dark leaves.

 
 

 

 ½ yard tone on tone dark orange fabric for the thin border and a few flowers.

 

 

 

A Fat Quarter of tone on tone green fabric for the main leaves.

 

 

 

A Fat Quarter of tone on tone lime green fabric for the vines and flower bases.

 

 

 

 

 

Fat Quarters or scraps of tone on tone or hand dyed fabrics for the flowers.
